We hired Nielsen’s Remodeling and Construction to make repairs to our home due to water damage, as well as remodel a few other rooms. Nielsen exceeded our expectations with his prompt responses, fantastic communication and timely execution of our project. Even with a few changes by us along the way, Nielsen’s Remodeling group not only finished on time, but also did a beautiful job. Living in Twin Creeks in Allen, I had many referrals for contractors to paint and glaze our outdated kitchen cabinets and family room built-ins as well as walls and moldings. My meeting with Nielsen solidified my decision to use them for this project. Nielsen was professional, made many great suggestions and was reasonably priced. He was flexible in scheduling, as I wanted to be out of the house while this project was being done. Choosing our colors for walls, cabinets and glaze was made easy. He dropped off samples of several options we selected. He painted the samples on several walls so we could get an idea for lighting. The cabinet door samples were dropped off as well. During the project Nielsen's crew was professional and clean. Appliances, counters and floors were completely covered and the rooms were taped off with plastic to ensure the paint and fumes were contained. Nielsen remained in constant contact with us and sent us pictures to show progress during the project. Once the project was completed Nielsen came over to inspect with us and even pointed out some things he wasn't happy with. He immediately, had his guys come back and make the improvements. Over a year later and we are so happy with the results. Our cabinets and built ins look amazing. They are wearing well and look like they are brand new. I highly recommend Nielsen's Painting and Remodeling.

You can stop looking for other contractors! Nielsen did a complete gut remodel of my kitchen including major floorplan changes after we had a significant water leak and it was the best experience with a contractor I've ever had. Nielsen is a PROFESSIONAL. Here's why: 1) Transparent Pricing: Nielsen provided a detailed cost breakdown upfront, and there were no surprise costs during the project. NONE. 2) Stuck to Schedule: He shared a precise timeline and delivered on every milestone. No delays! 3) Reliability and Responsiveness: When Nielsen said he was going to do something, he followed through. He was also extremely responsive via phone and text. 4) Proactive Problem-Solving: Nielsen would frequently identify and resolve issues without me even having to bring them up. 5) Quality Work: All these things wouldn't matter if the work itself wasn't up to snuff, but Nielsen and his team provided me with a beautiful kitchen that I'm so happy to be using. The quality of the work was amazing and he even reaches out at various points after the project is done and paid for to confirm that no issues have popped up. WHAT IS THIS SERVICE?! I've used several other contractors for previous remodels and by the end of the remodel, I never wanted to see them again. Even when they did "good enough" work, the process was miserable, timelines were always double or triple what I was told originally, they would disappear for days or weeks on end, and I always ended up spending way more than I was originally quoted. With Nielsen, his quotes weren't the lowest, but it was worth EVERY PENNY. I'd recommend him in a heartbeat to anyone and I've never said that about any contractor before.

Nielsen and his team are amazing! We had some unique requirements and he and his team were up to the challenge! It turned out beautifully! They had to modify our kitchen cabinets for appliances, add custom cabinets to match existing ones, we did new countertops running up the backsplash, laid a harlequin patterned floor, and built a closet where there wasn’t one before. I couldn’t recommend them more!

We ended the project being even happier with Nielsen and his team then when we started. This experience was amazing. His attention to detail is the best part of the renovation. I NEVER once had to point anything out that was wrong or I was unhappy with. Actually it was the opposite, sometimes he would demand his staff do something better and I was fine with it. Having already done a few remodels in my house I can assure you Nielsen and his team are the only ones I will work with ever again.
